March Challenge: Presence

March Challenge: The Power of Presence
I had a different challenge planned for this month. But after speaking with Kyle Shepard and reading his latest Substack post, I knew I had to pivot. His words hit deep, reminding me of something we often overlook—presence.
March is about being fully here—not distracted, not half-engaged, but truly present in our moments, our relationships, and our lives. In a world that constantly pulls us in a million directions, this might be one of the most valuable challenges we ever take on.
Why Presence?
We live in a time where attention is the new currency. Social media, emails, endless notifications—everything competes for our focus. But when was the last time you truly sat with yourself? Or had a conversation without glancing at your phone?
Being present isn’t just about ditching technology; it’s about learning to be where your feet are—mentally, emotionally, and physically. Presence strengthens relationships, reduces anxiety, improves productivity, and, most importantly, makes life richer.
The Challenge: Intentional Presence
Each week, we’re going to level up our presence:
🔹 Week 1: Find 10 minutes a day to sit in silence—no phone, no distractions. Just you and your thoughts.
🔹 Week 2: Have one conversation per day where you give your full attention. No multitasking, no looking at screens—just being fully there.
🔹 Week 3: Dedicate one meal a day to being phone-free. Savor your food, engage in conversation, or simply be mindful of the experience.
🔹 Week 4: Choose a full evening or day to disconnect from unnecessary technology. Read, walk, talk, create—be in your world without the constant pull of a screen.
What You’ll Get Out of This
By the end of the month, I hope we all feel more present, less rushed, and more connected to ourselves and those around us.
Presence is a skill. And like any skill, it takes practice. Let’s build it together.
Are you in? Drop a comment and let’s do this. One present moment at a time.

Love it! I'm in all the way. Haha though going through a meal without distraction is gonna be a real challenge for me.
Beautiful. I like your descriptions better than mine!
